In these unusual times, hospitality businesses and restaurants can’t wait to welcome their guests again. Whereas hospitality and quality were always the most important values, catering entrepreneurs now also have to focus on finding new ways to generate revenue. Home deliveries and collections are more common these days, and takeaway packaging is here to stay.
In the meantime, consumers’ purchasing habits and eating needs are also changing. Demand for vegetarian alternatives is on the rise, and we have a great need to share food together; to enjoy small snacks and delicious flavors more often. We miss the social contact that used to be so common in the hospitality industry and we struggle to showcase our hospitality. Even at home, entertaining large groups is no longer allowed.
